I read something in your inspiration thoughts
section titled there "One Hundred Years" and recognized
it as part of something written by Margaret Fishback Powers. I
had just recieved a book of her poetry and it stuck with me. She
is also the author of the poem called "Footprints". I
have written the entire poem below so you can also post it;
although I understand the interest in a shortened version, I also
read your section on copyright and thought you would want to
know.
One hundred years form now
It will not matter
What kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
How much I had in the bank
Nor what my clothes looked like.
One hundred years form now
It will not matter
What kind of school I attended,
What kind of typewriter I used,
How large or small my church,
But the world may be
...a little better because...
I was important in the
life of a child.

Thanks for your website - it is a joy to be able to see what
everyone is up to and share ideas. My friends and I have been
having a hoot looking up old songs. Hope this helps out.
