1. find a smooth rock* - about 10cms across
2. serviettes are usually in two or three layers - separate the top layer off from the backing
3. mix white glue with warm water - 1 part glue to five parts water
4. spread the rock with the glue mixture
5. place the tissue (top layer of serviette) on the rock
6. using a glue or paint brush and the glue mixture, paste the tissue smooth across the rock, especially at the edges. TEAR away any excess tissue
7. let dry
8. glaze with podgy or full strength white glue
*some people like to paint their rock white first, using Gesso, but this is not necessary even though it looks lovely.
