One of the Guiders researched what happened in parliament as
all these men decided whether women were persons and whether they
should vote.
We gave the girls positions such as speaker, leader of the
opposition, prime minister, etc.
We set up chairs to look like the house of commons and told them
the argument. It was quite amusing to see how well thought out
the girls responses were. The twist is that it was all these
girls deciding whether "males" should vote.
This skit linked directly to drama, history, women's history and
just plain fun.
