As for bouncing games, we didn't put the ball in a stocking, but did play a bouncing game against a wall where you had to do certain actions as you progressed up a certain number of throws against the wall -- I wish I could remember more, as we loved it and I think my after school kids would too!

After you did it once you continued without moving, laughing, talking, one hand, etc. etc. all the way through.

I taught it to my children when they were younger and they loved it.
