- has a sense of fun;
- is flexible without losing
sight of the goal or big picture;
- can laugh at herself;
- enjoys challenges;
- sees "problems" as
opportunities or challenges;
- believes in cooperative
leadership and practices it regularly;
- believes that she can still
learn something from 5 year old or a 17
- yrear old or a 27 yr. old or
a 77 yr. old;
- can say "I was wrong,
I'm sorry";
- can say "I don't know
the answer to that, but let me get back to you";
- can lead from the rear;
- knows when it would be best
for the group if she followed;

without making it seem rigid;

B";

better place, one child at a time, ;

"likes" with others and teach them;
- seeks other people to help
her with her "dislikes" so that girls/leaders
- don't miss out on an
opportunity;
- someone who understands the
"responsibilties" that must go with
- "rights";
- can listen and hear;
- is curious;
- isn't afraid to challenge the
current thinking if she thinks the
- movement (or one girl in her
own unit) would benefit;

to give!
Liz Lovis
