Eraser Critters

Just had to share this one! One
of the leaders brought it to our Service Unit meeting as an idea
for a thank you gift to teachers who share their rooms with us,
so we can meet in the school.
- Start with a
rhombus-shaped eraser.
- Stick 4 push pins where
legs ought to be.
- Stick 2 push pins where
ears ought to be and cover with pencil top erasers.
- Attach 2 small sequins to
the eraser with map pins where the eyes ought to be.
- Cut a length of
rubber-band, cut a forked tongue in one end, and attach
the straight end to the eraser with a map pin where the
mouth should be.
- Attach a feather to the
eraser with a map pin where the tail ought to be.
Quick, cute, and inexpensive.
Even useful if you dissect the little guy :-).
