Why use a Theme?

Using a theme helps to build traditions and togetherness for your Lone Unit. Within your Unit's
theme you would have smaller themes to celebrate the time of year or an occasion like:
Christmas, Thinking Day, Spring etc.

Expanding the theme

Use the Unit's theme for your meetings, challenges, and letters etc, by filling them with some of
the following: a place to meet, a story, mascot, fact discovering , jokes, crafts, program
illustrations, rewards, charts, booklets cut into appropriate shape(s), etc. Once you have the
general outline you can sit down and work on the specifics, which might be added a few at a
time, as more ideas are thought of by you and the girls.
