Button Flowers

Materials:

• assorted buttons
• construction paper
• pipe cleaners
• ribbon
• scissors

Directions:

Choose a button as a center for a flower. Cut out a flower shape from paper and using the end of a pipe cleaner (stem) poke through the paper, attach the button, re-thread through the button and paper and secure behind the flower head. The remainder of the pipe cleaner becomes the stem. Make a couple flowers and tie the bouquet with ribbon.

• Suitable for 5 to 7 year olds.
