Cinnamon Bread Dough Ornaments

Materials:

• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup salt
• 5 tsp cinnamon
• 3/4 to 1 cup water

Directions:

1. Combine dry ingredients.
2. Add enough water to make a dough. (it shouldn't stick to your hands. If it does add more flour. If it crumbles, add more water!)
3. Knead for 5 minutes.
4. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
5. Roll 3/4 inch thick.
6. Cut.
7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
8. Paint when cool.

I made the dough in advance. The girls rolled out the dough, cut out their shapes, I baked them. When they cooled, the girls got to paint them as they wished. You could get a bear cookie cutter. Paint them. Glue on googly eyes. Put a ribbon around the neck. Hang them on the Christmas tree. (make sure you put the hole in before you bake.)
