Materials:
- thin corkboard material (available in a roll from most craft
stores)
- gingerbread shaped cookie cutter
- fabric paints - light and dark brown, red and ivory or white
- optional - hole punch, strip magnets, curling ribbon or string
Directions:
- Trace shape from cookie cutter and cut out.
- With paints add details as follows:
- White - zigzag along arms and legs ( looks like the sewing notion - rick-rack) for "frosting".
- Dark brown - add "dot- dash - dot - dash " ( .__. _.__.__ ) for border around outer edge.
- Light brown - add facial details - eyes and smiley mouth.
- Red - add dots for cheeks - optional details are bow at neck, heart. For refrigerator magnets - glue on strip magnet to back. If you want to use as place settings / name tags - add "To: (name)" on
chest area. Use a hole punch add top center for tying onto package /napkin / tree.
