Materials:

Directions:

From felt cut out two ears and the shape of a monkey head from each piece and set aside. Glue on pompoms: place glove on hand, separate pom-pom strands to the center of the pompom. Apply glue to center and push pom-pom on top of finger, so that the pompom is around the top of the finger. Hold in place until glue dries. Repeat for the remaining four pompoms. Make the monkeys: glue ears on monkey heads(with head piece in the front). Glue wiggle eyes and use a marker to draw nostrils and mouths. On the palm side of the glove, glue monkey heads on the pompoms.

Use to play five little monkeys sitting on the bed, one fell off and bumped his head (bend down one finger. Leaving four monkeys standing) Mama called the doctor and the doctor said, "No more monkeys jumping on the bed!" (shake index finger of other hand at the monkeys) Continue counting down one monkey at a time. By the end of the chime all fingers will be bent down and there will be no more monkeys jumping on the bed.
