Candles and lights are essential parts of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa.
My daughter's first-grade class did this by putting nuts (with the shells on!) in a paper cup with some glue. A candle was pressed into the middle. When the glue dried, the cup was peeled off to reveal a candle in it's own "nutty" holder.
