Promise Hands

We have the girls trace their hands on paper, put their name on the hand, cut it out, (leave at least 1 and half inch wrist) and then tape the little finger and thumb together so the hand is making the Girl Guide and Scout promise sign.

Cut a small length of paper towel tubing and cover with silver or gold or green paper and tape the wrist part of the hand in the tubing--so you have all these little hands making their Promise.

This idea could be expanded and it takes about half an hour with young Brownies (US: 7-9 years).
