Cut a small, 4- 5 inch tall, fat stocking shape (or desired shape like candy cane, heart, apple, etc.) out of a "sandwich" of calico fabrics and thin cotton batting . Stitch around it using contrasting embroidery floss, using a blanket stitch. Glue a raffia hanger or bow at the top.
Add a magnet to the back, and they become a year round refrigerator decoration
