Materials:

• dolly pegs or pipe cleaners (chenille sticks I think!)
• odd wool/ embroidery threads
• scraps of material in variety of colours, particularly blue, green and fawn
• information on Guide uniforms and national costumes of other countries
• glue
• pins, needles and thread
• small cards or pieces of paper
• pens

Directions:

If using pipe cleaners make the basic doll first. Dress the mini dolls either in different Guide uniforms or in foreign costume. Each group could be given a different WAGGGS Region so that there is a variety. Let Guides decide how they will make the clothes from the materials provided.

Make a label for each doll indicating which country she represents. Hold a fashion show of the dolls at the end of the meeting.
