One of my favorite centerpieces was at our Council annual dinner last year. A troop made GS stamps (trefoils, appropriate words, etc.) from potatoes. Then, using colorful paints they stamped designs on plain brown wrapping paper and wrapped boxes of all shapes and sizes for each of the tables. Later we found out that inside those packages was food to go to local food bank.
