These are popular biscuits in Australia. They are so named because soldiers in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) during World War I loved to eat them. They are similar to crunchy oatmeal cookies.
Ingredients:
(Makes approx. 30 biscuits.)
Soften butter slightly, then cream together with maple syrup. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into small balls, place well apart on greased baking trays. Bake in a 350 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes. Cool on tray before removing.
