Thinking Day Friendship Pin

What we are trying this year - sort of a borrowing from Cub Scouts - is to have a different colored bead given out on a smaller safety pin for each country display and workshop they go to. Each small safety pin can be attached to a really big safety pin that is on a long necklace (this will save on the girls pinning and unpinning the big one - plus the younger girls would be challenged).

By the end of the event, each girl will have their own friendship pin - a momento from the day - that she could wear informally on her vest / sash anytime.
