Kibbe (Lebanon)

Ingredients: Method:

Combine all ingredients in food processor, process until finely ground. Spread meat mixture in cake pan.  Score top in diamond pattern. Drizzle with olive oil. Press a pine nut or almond sliver into the middle of each diamond. Bake at 375F for about 35 minutes or until lightly browned. This is not meatloaf, do not overcook! Cut along score lines and serve.

Note:  Kibbe Naiya is the same dish, but served raw with onion wedges. (Not recommended for Girl Scouts/Guides or anyone else concerned with food poisoning)
