Second phase:
Peel potatoes and grate into narrow strips. Heat butter/oil in a frying
pan. Add potato strips, sprinkle with salt and mix well. Fry the resulting
pancake like form at medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Turn over when the bottom
is crispy brown, and add more butter/fat. Fry for another 8-10 minutes.
Third phase:
Top with fried egg / cheese. Onions or cubes of bacon can also be mixed
under the potato strips.
