The World Flag - Meanings

The World Trefoil represents WAGGGS, the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. For the meanings of the individual parts of the World Trefoil, see The World Trefoil Pin / Badge - Meanings.

The three yellow squares represent the three parts of the Promise.

The white corner represents peace.

The new design for the World Flag was adopted in 1991.
