Rainbow Themed Activities

First thing I thought of was the song "The Rainbow Connection" as sung by Kermit the Frog and friends. Does anyone have the words? It's a very cute song.

Other things I think of with rainbows are:

• making big bubbles and looking for the rainbow colors in them
• making rainbows on the wall with crystals hung in the window
• on a hot day, putting the hose on a fine mist and trying to make your own rainbow
• having older girls try to make up a poem about rainbows with each line starting with a color of the rainbow (to make it more challenging, you could have them keep the colors in order)
